Hyperbaric Chamber
What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is a non-invasive medical treatment that consists of breathing high concentrations of oxygen (02) inside a medium pressure Hyperbaric Chamber. This triggers hyperoxia that has different physiological effects.
What is Hyperoxia
Hyperoxia is a significant increase in the availability of oxygen in blood plasma. It promotes cellular metabolism and allows oxygen to reach the brain, cartilage, bones, and tissues that do not properly receive it.

What To Expect During Treatment
Before you schedule your appointment in the chamber, a certified physician will evaluate your eligibility for the treatment. This is to make sure that there are no contradictions, and to establish protocol that works best for you and will meet your end health goals.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is simple – just sit back and relax! The machine does all the work. When it comes time for your appointment in the chamber, a technician will check your vitals and review a safety checklist. Feel free to bring your phone or computer in with you to keep your mind occupied – or use this time to rest and take a nap!
The chamber is wide for your convenience and has 10 windows, resulting in a 360 degree view and the ability to contact your technician if needed. They will be able to hear you so if an emergency arises, just let them know. With a hypoallergenic mattress and pillows, make yourself comfortable and try to relax as much as possible. The typical session lasts 60 minutes. You can choose to sit back into the chamber as most do, but there is also a stretcher if you are not physically able to get in on your own.
